Mancow and Christopher Hitchens get waterboarded

Here's Mancow and Christopher Hitchens being waterboarded.

Both these men advocated for waterboarding, have now changed their tune after experiencing it for themselves

You know...torture maybe a thing military units do while at war, but waterboarding people who are merely suspects of information is obviously wrong. Mankind should've learned this silliness from the Spanish Inquisition and the Salem Witch trials that torture only justifies the murderous will of the torturer. Cause when you torture people so badly, they'll say anything you want them to say, just as long as you make the pain stop.

My opinion on torture is essentially the same as my opinion on the death penalty. IF and ONLY IF the judicial system were FUNCTIONAL instead of corrupt, then both of those things might make sense. However, nothing about our legal system is fair to either criminals or victims of crime. So, it doesn't make sense to torture OR to murder people in the name of the law. Also similarly, the death penalty has not been shown to deter people from committing capital crimes...Torture has not been shown to extract valid information from prisoners. So it doesn't even work, what is the point?
